hellopapercut:
coming up with monster designs for my Media assignment during GD History lecture.
we’re supposed to do an oil painting of a monster that would potentially be published by Fantagraphic’s BEAST series.
(I enjoy seeing other people’s doodles. hellopapercut’s tumblr is full of them. Check it out!)
hollymaguire:
Pen and Ink Drawing
Holly has the cutest pen and ink drawings. I’m a sucker for pen and ink. She’s not a daily poster, but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t mind waiting. I’m happy to see more stuff popping up on Eat, Sleep, Draw and on her blog lately!

“Music dorks” visit the above link immediately and follow. The first—actually second—post is pretty epic. Well, it’s just epic. That being said, Goobs, you’re going to have to add commenting capability.

A sketch I did in the car one hot friday morning. I draw cigarette smoke a lot, must be from watching my significant other killing his lungs every day.
She shares my love of lines.
I love her art and I think you will, too.
Go visit sirlonie’s tumblog for more beautifully exaggerated and stylized human forms. Check out the archive to view the evolution of this artist’s style, in both pencil and paint.
One of the best drawing blogs around here. I actually think I saw it on one of your blogs, guys! Who posted about I Like To Draw Things? Tell me so I can properly credit. Anyway, I love finding tumblogs with all original content (unlike mine!).
puppyland:
New Dog Fashions.
This is from Puppyland, made by Sarah Ferrick. I don’t really know what to say about it except that Sarah is amazing, and this is what the About says: “This is Puppyland. One might assume that only dogs live in Puppyland but this is devastatingly incorrect.” Anyway, original work=super duper.
Hollie Chastain makes art out of old book covers and vintage paper that she “scavenges” for. (She is also on tumblr.)

Lines, lines, lines! I love inky lines, always. Check out gribblescribble for more inky lines. Some lines are pencily. I like those, too.
