There is a lot of crap on the internet, especially when it comes to art and design. I finally found Caleb Kimbrough’s blog and flickr page after hours of fruitless searching, which is where I got the paper texture that graces the background of this page. These are totally fun. They are like little works of art sitting on your desk. They are not, however, lightfast. Anything you create with these would have to be displayed under UV protective glass (not hard to find). This particular set (William) has very primary colors. The other set (Henry) is a little more nuanced in hue. They are all blendable, and you can use either a pen or a brush to apply them. The Henry set might be my next art purchase; I’m pleased with William.
