I’ve gotten lots of questions about my watercolors recently.
Ok, actually I’ve gotten three. Thanks, wheresburger, lollymac, and softrockstar—such sweet girls! In upcoming posts I’ll do my best to address your queries. I have a little series of posts planned explaining the materials I use and the technique I practice. It’s nice to know how artists make what they make. Sharing...

thegimpnarwhal asked: maybe for some of your drawings you could try selling them, or giving them away as prizes to your tumblr readers!?

Californians, can you believe this rain?
I really like it until I’m required to go somewhere in it. My umbrella is broken. I need a new one. When it rains I’m hopeful that I will be really productive indoors—grade papers, clean, draw—but usually I end up sitting around, drinking tea, internetting, doing nothing important. I took a picture of the stuff on my desk today to use as a background for my flavors.me...

Questions, questions, questions
I, too, have activated the ask feature on this blog. I promise not to abuse it by flooding dGd! with Q&A, but rather to use this feature to post pertinent, interesting questions that I have utterly fascinating answers for.

100 Boots
I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to SFMOMA. I went this past Friday. Two of the floors were closed for installations so we got in for half price. Eric Fortune...
…is the artist behind this post. Thanks againstthetide and hybridj for setting me straight! I should’ve known it was him and can totally see it now.
Happy Monday, everyone.

Field Trip!
Meeting up with some friends at SFMOMA in a couple hours. I haven’t been there in a while. The current exhibit is some collection of works honoring their 75th anniversary. Admittedly this doesn’t excite me very much. I mean, I feel like I’ve seen Jeff Koons’s Michael Jackson and Bubbles a million times, as well as much of the rest of the permanent collection....

Just Kidding
So after a week on Facebook, I’m over it. I don’t think having a page as a visual artist is that important to me after all. Account deleted. Not fake deleted (aka deactivated), real deleted.
Thanks to the handful of fans, though!
